FSO - Technology Consulting - Business Analyst / Data Analyst (Core Insurance)

<h3><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>About the Role</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support delivery of a next-generation core system modernisation with downstream applications and systems across different business segments (e.g. Retail, SME, and Commercial).</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery by capturing and validating business requirements and ensuring data readiness, quality, and lineage throughout the transformation lifecycle.</span><br><span style="font-size:10.0pt">You will work closely with stakeholders from business, IT, data, and vendor teams to define requirements, validate solutions, analyse data structures, and support migration, integration, and reporting activities.</span></p><hr><h3><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>The Opportunity</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Join our growing Financial Services, Technology Consulting team to play a key role in core system modernisation. Migration Support</strong></span></h4><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Analyse source and target system data models, data dictionaries, and mapping documents</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Collaborate with data migration team to ensure data accuracy and consistency</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Assist in defining and validating data quality rules, reconciliation reports, and lineage tracking</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Help identify master and reference data sources, and support metadata documentation</span></li></ul><h4><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Reporting &amp; Insights</strong></span></h4><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Support business stakeholders in defining reporting and analytics requirements</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Perform data extraction and analysis to support insights, testing, and validation</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Ensure alignment of data requirements with regulatory and operational reporting obligations</span></li></ul><h4><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Stakeholder Communication &amp; Documentation</strong></span></h4><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Serve as the liaison between business, data, and technical teams</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Document business/data requirements, source-to-target mappings, test cases, and user guides</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Present findings, recommendations, and impact assessments to senior stakeholders</span></li></ul><hr><h3><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></h3><h4><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Education &amp; Technical Skills</strong></span></h4><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">3 to 5 years of experience in Business Analyst or Data Analyst role in the financial services industry, with at least one end-to-end system transformation or modernisation project (e.g., core insurance, insurance policy admin systems)</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindset</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Hands-on skills in data analysis using SQL, Excel, or data profiling tools</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Understanding of data governance, quality, and privacy principles</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Understanding of financial services core modules, such as:</span><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Insurance</strong> (e.g. Policy administration, Underwriting, Claims Management, Payments, Re-insurance)</span></li></ul></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences</span></li></ul><h4><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Professional Certification</strong></span></h4><ul style="list-style-type:disc"><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Data analysis certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or DAMA)</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Agile/Scrum certifications</span></li><li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner</span></li></ul><h4><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>Leadership &amp;
