At Sage, we believe face to face collaboration drives innovation, so we operate a hybrid model. You’ll work three days per week in the office and two days from home.

If you love building things from scratch and want a role where your work genuinely shapes how a business scales, this one's for you. You'll be the global owner of our sales operations engine for Embedded Services — Sage's fastest-growing strategic priority — designing the processes, playbooks, and infrastructure that power some of our most complex enterprise deals across multiple regions. This isn't a "maintain the status quo" role; you're building the foundation that a global team will grow on, with direct exposure to senior leadership and real influence over how we expand into new markets. You'll need experience in Sales, Revenue, or Commercial Operations within SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software, plus proven experience owning CRM governance and enterprise forecasting across multiple regions.
Your first 90 days:

In your first 30 days, you'll get under the skin of our sales motion — assessing the current state of pipeline, CRM, and forecasting so you know exactly where to focus.

By day 60, you'll define the global standards and operating model that will underpin everything we do, getting buy-in from key stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Legal.

By day 90, you'll have rolled out the first iteration of our processes, reporting frameworks, and playbooks — giving us a repeatable, forecastable sales engine ready to scale.

What you'll be doing:

• Own global Salesforce governance: ensure pipeline hygiene and maintain accurate, auditable, and actionable enterprise data.
• Lead enterprise forecasting with Finance: turn pipeline data into reliable financial plans and performance insights.
• Run the enterprise deal desk: manage pricing approvals, non-standard terms, and commercial exceptions.
• Develop GTM playbooks: define the deal lifecycle, onboarding flows, and handoffs across Sales, Product, Legal, and Delivery.
• Optimize the sales tech stack: evaluate tools, remove inefficiencies, and implement solutions that scale with growth.
• Support territory and coverage planning: align go-to-market resources with the highest-value global opportunities.

Experience:

• Experience in Sales, Revenue, or Commercial Operations within SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software.
• Proven ownership of CRM governance and forecasting across global or multi-region organizations.
• Experience running an enterprise deal desk, including pricing governance and non-standard commercial terms.
• Track record of building scalable processes and playbooks from scratch.
• Comfortable operating as a single global owner in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Requirements:

• Strong CRM and sales analytics skills (Salesforce or similar platforms).
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product without direct authority.
• Confident turning complex pipeline data into clear executive-level reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Barcelona-based, able to work in a hybrid model.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with embedded or API-led sales motions.
• Familiarity with CPQ or deal desk models.
• Experience building Sales Ops functions in early-stage companies.
• Background in regulated financial services environments.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

• Fostering the safety culture, by leading with your own example.
• Following established safety procedures and reporting potential hazards promptly helps maintain a secure and efficient workplace.
• Participating in safety training sessions and adhering to preventive guidelines and procedures, the objective is minimizing risks and protecting yourself and the rest of your colleagues.

Benefits:

At Sage, we offer you an environment where you can grow professionally without compromising your personal well-being.

Our benefits package is designed to provide stability, flexibility, and balance:

• Medical and dental insurance: Fully funded medical and dental insurance.

• Flexible benefits: Exchange part of your salary and make tax savings on meal and transport vouchers, childcare, and training.

• Flexible working: flexibility of working one hour in, one hour out, shortened workdays on Fridays and during the summer, and the opportunity to work from over 40 countries for up to 10 weeks per year through our Work Away program.

• Annual leave: 23 working days of vacation, 5 paid days per year for volunteering, and 5 additional paid days annually for personal or professional development.

• Extended leave: 7 extra days of maternity leave and 5 extra days of paternity leave, on top of the legal allowance, available after one year of service.

• Financial support: Life and disability insurance, salary advances of up to 3.5 times your net monthly pay, a €300 net marriage bonus, and access to Sage's employee stock purchase plan at a discounted rate.
