<br>As a Developer at Sage, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality products, systems, or services that surpass customer and business partner expectations. You will also proactively share expertise on technical solutions and business processes within your area of responsibility.

<br>• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
<br>• Collaborate across teams, including product management, QA/XD, various product lines, and business units, to drive results.
<br>• Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal application efficiency and scalability.

<br>Our Windows desktop development stack includes:

<br>C / C++ (majority of the code)
<br>NET Framework: C#, WPF, Prism, NUnit, etc
<br>MFC

<br>Key Responsibilities
<br>
<br>• Successfully develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality desktop software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.).
<br>• Collaborate with Solution Designers early in the process to ensure the product is flexible, scalable, and resilient.
<br>• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
<br>• Collaborate across teams, including product management, QA/XD, various product lines, and business units, to drive results.
<br>• Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal application efficiency and scalability.
<br>
<br>Essential requirements:
<br>
<br>Associate Developer level:
<br>
<br>• Exposure to Microsoft Windows desktop application development
<br>• Basic proficiency of C / C++
<br>• Knowledge or working knowledge of .NET Framework; C#, WPF, Prism, NUnit
<br>• Knowledge or working knowledge in Agile, Scrum, and/or extreme programming methodologies
<br>
<br>Preferred:
<br>
<br>- Some knowledge of Payroll software (preferred but not essential)
<br>- Familiar with common UI design patterns like MVVM, MVC and MVP
<br>- Familiar with Web Services and Rest APIs
<br>- Familiar with GIT, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins and AWS technologies
<br>- Familiar with Unit Testing / MOCK frameworks
<br>- Interested in writing high quality, robust code involving approaches such as unit testing, code coverage and static code analysis.
<br>- Naturally curious, thrives on learning new technologies and bringing new ideas into the teams to explore
<br>- Relishes solving problems through creative engineering
